Many of Dr. Sharen Jeffries patients find themselves frustrated by the initial signs of aging, such as smile lines, wrinkles between the eyebrow, sagging cheek or hollowness around the eyes or temples as well as lip lines and loss of fullness to your lips. For those who are not yet ready to pursue plastic surgery, such as face lift, eye lift, or neck lift, fillers may be an ideal solution.

Fillers are materials that are placed into deeper lines and wrinkles. Each filler that Dr. Sharen Jeffries uses is a different material and the duration of filling may very between the different substances. When you come in for your private consult with Dr. Sharen Jeffries, she will evaluate your concerns and make recommendations on the right facial filler, depending on your goals and desires.


Juvederm


The Juvederm family of hyluronic acid dermal fillers provides a smooth, long-lasting correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. Juvederm is the first smooth consistency gel formulation and only hyluronic acid dermal filler approved by the FDA, to last up to one year from initial treatment.
To provide Dr. Sharen Jeffries with the flexibility to tailor each treatment to the specific needs to each patient, the Juvederm Family of dermal fillers include Juvederm Ultra, Juvederm Ultra XC and Juvederm Ultra Plus as well as Juvederm Ultra Plus XC. “XC” products contain Lidocaine.

Radiesse


Radiesse is a calcium based micro-sphere suspended in a natural get that is injected either just beneath or deep in the dermis. In addition to providing immediate volume correction, it also stimulates production of your own natural collagen.

In many patients, correction can last for one year or more.


Restylane


Restylane is a natural hyluronic acid-based cosmetic dermal filler. Hyluronic Acid is a natural substance that already exists in the human body and is used to provide volume and fullness to the skin. The Restylane family of products includes Restylane, Restylane-L, Perlane and Perlane-L. These products can be uses individually to add volume and fullness to the skin to correct moderate to severe wrinkles and folds.

How long does Restylane/Perlane last?


Six to nine months, depending on each individual patient and dermal filler.


Sculptra Aesthetics


Sculptra Aesthetics is the first facial injectable that gives you subtle results over time. Sculptra Aesthetics is made from poly-L-latic acid, which helps to replace lost collagen. It can help correct shallow to deep facial wrinkles, and folds that appear with aging by replacing lost collagen. The main ingredient for Sculptra Aesthetics is a biocompatiable, biodegradable synthetic material that has been used by physicians for years.

How many treatments?

On average, Sculptra Aesthetics is administered by Dr. Sharen Jeffries, in three injection sessions, four to six weeks apart. The number of injection sessions and the number of injections per session vary from person to person.

  • Deep folds between the nose and mouth (nasolabial folds) also called smile lines
  • The lines framing your mouth (marionette lines)
  • Chin wrinkles
  • Hollowness around eyes and temples and cheeks

How long does Sculptra Aesthetics last?
