How many treatments do I need?

Each patient is different and will be treated individually, however the degree of improvement is gradual and persistent and is usually complete over a five to six treatment protocol. The results of the laser facial persist months after the last procedure due to the progressive nature of the treatment.

Can a laser facial be combined with other treatments?

Laser facials are best combined with chemical peels, oxygen facials, Botox, and fillers. All these procedures are complementary and when used together deliver the best non-surgical, anti-aging results.

ICON - IPL  Photofacial

IPL is the “gold standard” procedure for the treatment of photo aging, sun damage, pigmentation and rosacea. This treatment can be successfully used to treat the face, neck, chest, hands, shoulders and back. IPL provides dramatic results for such common skin conditions as:
  • Age and Brown Spots
  • Freckles
  • Acne and Acne Scars
  • Rosacea
  • Facial Veins
  • Large pores and Skin texture
The laser emits a broad spectrum light called Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) that gently heats up the skin. As the skin absorbs the photo rejuvenation light, it targets melanin, which is responsible for sun damage and pigmentation. Just a few days after the treatment, excessive skin pigmentation begins to fade.

Using a wand-like laser hand piece, undesired wrinkles are softened or removed. Also called laser resurfacing, it is an important advance in skin rejuvenation and can diminish the signs of aging, treat skin damage, and correct acne scars. There are three types of ablative lasers used for resurfacing.
